It is uncertain when or where the first Lizard Canaries came to Ireland. If any one knows for certain, feel free to enlighten me.

One of our members started breeding them in 1993, and has done well breeding in his chosen type. Unfortunately he refuses to show his birds, due to his dislike of the show scene.

I along with a few others recieved some Lizard Canaries from Britain via a Canary Forum in 2009, however none of those birds ever bred for me. Only one of the members of that forum had success with them.

In Febuary, 2010, I obtained four pairs from the Stan Bolton stud, and these are doing well for me.
